Lynnwood Speech and Language Services

Welcome to the Lynnwood Speech and Language Services Clinic. We are clinicians  who share a love in our work and a desire to support children and their families during their time with us.

After being at our current location for ten years, we moved to our new space October 1, 2018. The new address is 18905 33rd Ave W. Lynnwood WA 98036. We are excited to branch out to include more community involvement, parent training and even a play school for children with social-emotional dysregulation. Certified Clinicians

Each clinician is a nationally certified speech and language pathologist through the American Speech and Hearing Association who has a Masters level of education in the area of communication disorders or speech and language pathology, and Washington State Licensure. 

We all have our specific areas of interest and expertise and see children, age 15 months to 18 years with Speech Sound DIsorders (phonological and/or verbal apraxia), language delay, autism spectrum disorder, reading/ spelling delay, social-communication, and voice.

Philosophy

The clinicians work from a developmental approach. What does this mean in simple terms? We follow typical child development models and practices that focus not on a specific skill set but on the development of the underlying social and linguistic systems. These are the building blocks to learning and integrating concepts so that they are applied in a way that allows new information to be more readily learned and generalized.
